Precious Metal Clay

Precious Metal Clay is very cool stuff. It can be formed in many ways like clay BUT when fired the organic binders burn out and you are left with 99.9% pure silver or fine silver.

LILLY OLLIO Drop in Precious Metal Clay –A great way to try out PMC. With the Lilly Ollio system you can make pendants to use on necklaces or charms for bracelets. You pick a shape from the base molds, choose your imprint design and create your unique silver jewelry.

Workshops can be scheduled at mutullaly convienct times for your group of 3 or more.

PMC 101 – most compressive

• Create a pendent, beads, earrings, or charms. You will make 3-6 pieces
• Rolling, carving, folding, texturing, and other techniques will be explored
• One package each of PMC clay, PMC sheet, ½ paste, and ½ syringe included
• Possibilities include stone setting
• Studio tools available for use

A great way to begin to really explore the possibilities of this exciting new material. Four hour workshop and a one hour break Fee $155

Silver Beads

• Create 5-8 silver beads
• Texturing, embellishing and other techniques will be explored
• One PMC paste, ½ PMC syringe, and one PMC sheet included
• Studio tools available for your use

Three hour workshop and a one hour break Fee $140

PMC Pendent and a Pair of Earrings

• Create your own unique pendent and matching (or not) earrings
• Rolling, cutting, texturing, stone setting, and other techniques will be explored
• One package of PMC clay and three “stones” for inclusion included
• Studio tools available for your use

Three hour workshop and a one hour break Fee $105

Additional PMC clay, stones, cabochons, and findings available at workshops. We stock PMC clay, and some tools for retail sale. We also offer firing for home artisans.

More advanced classes will be available including Hollow Vessels, Chain Link Bracelet, Kimono Pin, Hollow Beads.
